1. What Databases Are Supported?

• Windows Plesk Hosting: MS SQL Server (2019/2022), MySQL 8.x
• Linux cPanel Hosting: MySQL / MariaDB

2. Can I Connect to My Database Remotely?

• Plesk (Windows): Remote MS SQL and MySQL access is supported. You must add your IP under Plesk → Databases → Remote Access.
• cPanel (Linux): Remote MySQL works by adding your IP in cPanel → Remote MySQL.

3. Do Databases Count Toward My Disk Space?

Yes. All database storage (MS SQL, MySQL, MariaDB) counts toward your hosting plan's disk space allowance.

4. How Do I Back Up My Databases?

• Plesk MS SQL: Plesk → Databases → Backup & Restore
• Plesk MySQL: Use phpMyAdmin or Plesk Database Backup
• cPanel MySQL: Use phpMyAdmin → Export, or cPanel Backup tool

5. Is There a Limit on the Number of Databases?

Your hosting package determines the number of databases you may create. Some plans allow unlimited databases, while others include a fixed quota.

6. Can I Import Large SQL Files?

Yes. However, phpMyAdmin has upload size limits. For large imports:

• Use Plesk Backup Import (MS SQL & MySQL)
• Use the MySQL command line (SSH for VPS/Dedicated)
• Request support for imports over the limit

7. Do You Support External Database Tools?

• MS SQL Management Studio (Windows)
• HeidiSQL (MySQL on Windows/Linux)
• MySQL Workbench
• Any ODBC/OLE DB compatible software

8. What Happens If I Exceed My Database Storage?

Your database may stop accepting writes if your hosting disk quota is reached. You can upgrade storage instantly via the Client Area.
