Email Storage and Message Size Limits
Fast2Host email services include storage quotas and message size limits to ensure reliable performance across all hosting platforms. These limits vary depending on whether you are using Windows or Linux (cPanel) hosting.
Windows Hosting (POP3 Accounts)
- POP3 mailbox size: Limited to 1GB per account.
- Best practice: Download emails regularly to your PC using Outlook, Windows Mail, or similar clients.
- Message size limit: Incoming and outgoing emails are limited to 40MB per message.
Note: Exceeding your POP3 quota may result in delivery failures or bounced messages.
Linux Hosting (cPanel)
- Mailbox size: You can set mailbox quotas per email account based on your total hosting disk space.
- Flexible allocation: Adjust mailbox limits via cPanel → Email Accounts → Manage.
- Message size limit: Incoming and outgoing emails are also limited to 40MB per message.
Note: Mailbox usage counts toward your total hosting disk space allocation.
