MySQL Database Size Limits

Fast2Host does not set a hard limit on the size of an individual MySQL database. Your MySQL database can grow as needed, as long as it remains within the overall disk space included with your hosting plan.

The total size of all your MySQL databases counts toward your hosting disk space allowance. If your databases and files together exceed your plan’s quota, you may receive disk usage warnings or need to upgrade to a larger package.

Things to Keep in Mind

• Large databases can affect backup times and performance.
• Regularly optimise and clean up unused tables, logs, and sessions.
• Use indexes and pruning for log or archive tables to keep growth under control.
• Monitor usage from your control panel to avoid hitting storage limits unexpectedly.
