How to Order a Domain Transfer to Fast2Host

This guide explains how to transfer your domain name to Fast2Host. Before beginning, ensure you have completed the required steps depending on your domain extension:

• For .uk domains: Your current registrar must change the IPS Tag to ENOM.
• For all other domains (.com, .net, .org, etc.): Make sure the domain is unlocked and that you have obtained the EPP/Authorization Code from your current registrar.

1. Begin the Transfer in the Client Area

1. Visit: https://www.fast2host.com/clientarea.php
2. Click Domain Availability Checker on the left menu.
3. Enter the domain name you wish to transfer and click Lookup.
4. The system will show the domain as already taken. Ignore this and click Order.
5. Select Order Domain Registration Only.
6. Choose I want to transfer my domain to Fast2host Ltd and confirm the domain name is correct.
7. Click Continue.

2. Enter Transfer Details

1. Select the correct domain and click Click to Continue.
2. If required, enter your EPP/Authorization Code.
3. Tick the free DNS Management option.
4. Check your nameservers (you can use Fast2Host nameservers or keep your current ones during transfer).
5. Select your payment method and click Click to Continue.
6. Choose I am an existing customer and enter your login details.
7. Click Click to Continue again to generate your invoice.

Once payment is completed, the transfer request will be submitted automatically.

3. Important Information for .UK Domains

When transferring a .uk domain, it is essential that you enter your registrant details correctly. Changing registrant information for .uk domains is not easily done and must be handled directly through Nominet (the official UK domain registry).

Transferring a .uk domain to Fast2Host only moves the management of the domain, not the legal ownership. Ownership transfers must be arranged with Nominet if required.

You will receive an email as soon as the transfer completes. Global TLD transfers typically take up to 5 to 10 days.
