How to Transfer Your Domain to Fast2Host

Most domain extensions require an EPP/Authorization Code to complete a transfer. This code is generated by your current registrar and verified through the global registry. Fast2Host cannot generate this code for domains held elsewhere.

For .uk domains, transfers use an IPS Tag instead of an EPP code.

1. Get Your EPP (Authorization) Code

To transfer global TLDs such as .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, follow these steps:

• Contact your current registrar.
• Request the EPP/Authorization Code.
• Ensure the domain is unlocked.
• Disable WHOIS privacy if required (some registrars block transfer emails).

The EPP code is required before you can begin the transfer process at Fast2Host.

2. Special Instructions for .UK Domains

For **.co.uk, .uk, .org.uk** and other UK domains:

• No EPP code required.
• You must ask your current provider to change the IPS Tag to: ENOM

Once the IPS Tag is updated, the domain will automatically move to Fast2Host.

3. Start the Transfer at Fast2Host

After obtaining the EPP code (or updating the IPS Tag), follow these steps:

1. Go to the client area: https://www.fast2host.com/clientarea.php
2. Click Domain Availability Checker on the left.
3. Enter your domain name and click Lookup.
4. Even if it says the domain is already taken, click Order.
5. Select Order Domain Registration Only.
6. Select I want to transfer my domain to Fast2Host Ltd.
7. Click Continue.
8. Review the domain details and click Click to Continue.
9. Enter your EPP Code if required.
10. Select the free DNS Management option.
11. Verify nameservers (use Fast2Host or keep your current ones).
12. Choose your payment method.
13. Click Click to Continue again.
14. Select I am an existing customer and confirm login details.
15. Click Click to Continue to generate your invoice.

Once payment is received, the transfer process will begin.

4. How Long Does a Transfer Take?

Domain transfers typically complete within 5 to 10 days, depending on the current registrar's processing speed.

You will receive an email notification once the transfer completes.
