Who it's for

Leased lines for Cambridge offices, workspaces and racks

Cambridge Head Offices

A reliable fibre leased-line backbone for cloud apps, VoIP, video conferencing and hybrid working — without the contention of a business broadband line.

Managed & Serviced Offices

Tenant-ready business connectivity for shared workspaces, co-working hubs and managed office providers — VLAN per tenant, single bill, one point of contact.

Extended LAN to Fast2host

Stretch your office LAN directly into your colocated rack at our Cambridge data centre — point-to-point fibre, layer-2 transparent, no public internet in the path.

Cloud, ISPs & Media

Wholesale uplink, large dataset transfers to AWS / Azure / GCP, and high-bitrate live broadcast — all over symmetric, BGP-ready leased lines.

Why Choose Lease Lines?

Dedicated fibre for every kind of UK business

Leased Line is a term used for any dedicated bandwidth service delivered over a leased fibre connection. Our Leased Lines have potential bandwidth up to 10Gbps symmetrical speeds and have almost 100% UK coverage, providing high speed uncontended internet connection.

Multi-Site Offices

Connect branch offices with secure, private network connectivity. Fast2host offers multi-tenant connectivity solutions, allowing business centres, serviced offices, and co-working spaces to share a leased line efficiently while maintaining separate networks and bandwidth control for each tenant.

Remote Working

Perfect for remote and hybrid workplaces, enabling distributed teams to work seamlessly with fast, reliable, and symmetrical connections, while supporting secure VPN access, cloud collaboration, and real-time communication between multiple locations without interruption.

VoIP & Video

Internet Leased Lines deliver guaranteed bandwidth and low latency, ensuring crystal-clear VoIP calls and high-quality video conferencing for seamless communication without dropouts, lag, or interruptions — even during peak business hours.

Cloud Applications

Fast, stable, and uncontended connectivity for cloud-based operations, ensuring reliable access to cloud services, SaaS applications, data storage, and online collaboration tools with consistent performance and minimal latency.

Business Operations

Hotels, offices, schools, retail stores, manufacturers, financial institutions, multi-tenant workplaces and serviced offices — all monitored 24/7 by our technical support staff across a high-speed network spanning multiple UK data centres, designed for redundancy, speed, and security.

Extended LAN delivery

Stretch your office LAN straight into your Fast2host rack

Our most popular leased-line option for Cambridge businesses is the Extended LAN service — a transparent layer-2 fibre circuit between your office and your colocated rack in our Tier III Cambridge data centre. Your servers appear on your office subnet as if they were under the desk, but live in a secure, powered, cooled and DDoS-protected facility.

No NAT. No public IP exposure. No traversing the open internet. Just a dedicated piece of glass between you and your hardware — with the option of fully hosted installation, where our engineers rack, cable, configure and hand back working IP addresses on day one.

Layer-2 transparent

Ethernet over fibre delivered as a clean point-to-point — your office VLANs ride straight through to the rack untouched.

No public exposure

Internal traffic never touches the public internet. Optional firewall, IDS and DDoS filtering before any upstream break-out.

Hosted installation

We rack, cable, power, label and patch your hardware on arrival — and stage IPs, VLANs and routing to your spec before handover.

Equipment supply & build

Need the kit too? We source, build and burn-in HPE, Dell or Supermicro servers, switches and firewalls — delivered turnkey into your rack.

Resilient pair

Optional second Extended LAN over a diverse carrier and diverse fibre entry — automatic failover via LACP or BGP.

Remote Hands included

Our Cambridge engineers can power-cycle, swap drives, console in or run a scripted change while you stay at the office.

Case study

Managed workspace, Cambridge city centre

How one Cambridge serviced-office provider replaced a contended broadband setup with a single Fast2host leased line — and turned business connectivity into a revenue stream for their tenants.

The challenge

One broadband line, 14 tenants

A Grade-II listed managed office on Hills Road was running 14 businesses — including a fintech and an architectural practice — behind a single contended 500/75 FTTC line. VoIP dropped during Teams calls, large CAD uploads stalled, and the landlord was fielding daily tickets.

The solution

1Gbps symmetric leased line + per-tenant VLANs

Fast2host delivered a 1Gbps EoFTTP leased line with a managed edge router, a 24-port PoE switch and a tenant portal. Each business got a tagged VLAN, dedicated subnet, rate-limit, public IP and its own firewall policy — all billed separately back to the landlord.

The result

Zero outages. New tenant revenue.

Twelve months in: 100% uptime, zero connectivity tickets to the landlord, and a new £45/tenant/month "Premium Connectivity" line on the rent card. The fintech tenant has since added an Extended LAN to two racks in our data centre for their staging environment.

"Switching to a Fast2host leased line let us stop apologising for the Wi-Fi. Our tenants get business-grade connectivity, we get a new revenue line, and when something does need attention there's a Cambridge engineer on the phone — not a chatbot."

12 common questions

A leased line is a dedicated, symmetric fibre connection between your premises and our Cambridge network — also called Dedicated Internet Access (DIA). Unlike business broadband, it is 1:1 uncontended with identical upload and download speeds, static IP space, a hard uptime SLA and proactive monitoring from our UK NOC.
