1. How to Write a Comment on a WordPress Post
To submit a comment on a WordPress site:
- Visit the website’s public (live) front-end.
- Open the post or article you want to comment on.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page where the comment form is located.
- Enter your:
- Name
- Email address
- Comment text
- Click Post Comment.
Depending on the site’s settings, your comment may appear immediately, or it may need approval from an administrator before becoming visible.
2. How WordPress Handles Comment Moderation
Many WordPress sites require comments to be reviewed before publishing. This helps prevent spam and unwanted content.
After submitting a comment, users may see:
- Your comment is awaiting moderation. — The admin must approve it.
