Abuse & complaint procedure
Report spam, phishing, malware, copyright issues or other misuse involving Fast2Host network space or hosting — and find how we handle customer service complaints.
- RIPE-registered mailbox
- UK Cambridge team
- Evidence-led triage
- AUP enforcement
What you can report
We investigate misuse involving Fast2Host hosting, colocation connectivity and our public IP space (AS48825). Choose the right channel so the right team sees it first.
Spam & bulk email
Unsolicited mail originating from Fast2Host IP space, including open relays and compromised mailboxes.
Phishing & malware
Fraudulent sites, credential harvesting, drive-by downloads or malware hosted on Fast2Host services.
Network attacks
Scanning, brute-force campaigns, botnet C2 or DDoS sources attributable to our AS48825 ranges.
Copyright & content
Alleged copyright infringement or unlawful content hosted by a Fast2Host customer — include URLs and ownership details.
Account / AUP misuse
Resource abuse, credential stuffing from customer services, or other acceptable-use policy breaches.
Service complaints
If you are a customer unhappy with support, billing or delivery — use a Billing or Support ticket rather than the abuse mailbox.
What to include
Complete reports let us match traffic to a customer and act faster. Incomplete reports often need a follow-up before we can investigate.
- Exact date and time (UTC preferred) of the incident
- Source IP address(es) and destination ports where known
- Full URLs or domain names involved
- Email headers (not only the body) for spam reports
- Packet captures, firewall logs or RBL listings if available
- Your contact details and any case IDs from other providers
How we handle reports
Every actionable report is reviewed by our UK team. Enforcement follows our terms of service and acceptable-use policy.
We triage the report
Actionable reports with IPs, timestamps and evidence are prioritised. Vague complaints without logs may be returned with a request for more detail.
We investigate the customer or service
Our Cambridge team correlates the report with AS48825 routing, hosting accounts and monitoring. We contact the responsible customer where appropriate.
We take proportionate action
Depending on severity this can mean a warning, content removal, traffic filtering, suspension or termination under our terms and acceptable-use policy.
Policies & network context
Abuse handling sits alongside our published terms, network documentation and security programme.
