Why am i charged to transfer a domain to Fast2host

We add one year to the expiration date of the domain and charge the you for one year's registration. Upon transfer completion, your domain's expiration date will have increased by one year**.

Example: If your domain expires on June 2, 2007, you will be charged for one year's renewal and the domain's expiration date is updated to June 2, 2008 upon transfer completion.

**Exceptions
Due to a registry restriction, if a domain is renewed and then transferred to another registrar within the first 45 days of the renewal date, the domain will not have an additional year added to the expiration date.

Please note: There is no requirement to transfer your domain name to Fast2host. You can leave the domain with your current registrar, and just point your DNS nameservers to our hosting.
