FAQ

Remove the registrar lock to transfer my domain? I need the EPP code too. Which TLD's have a registrar lock?

A registrar lock, will prohibit the transfer of the domain to another registrar. This is a security measure that only the account holder can change on individual domains. Not all domains have locks. Typically locks can still be found on .com, .net domains, although you will also need the EPP authorization code to transfer the domain.

Top Level Domains such as .com .net .org

If you want to transfer domains to Fast2host, from another registrar (like Go-Daddy or RegisterFly for example), you will need to unlock the domains and ask the other registrar to provide you with the authorization code. Unfortunately, Fast2host cannot assist with this process, as we do not have access to any other registrar's websites or databases (including Registerfly).
Once you have unlocked the domains and obtained the EPP transfer codes, log into your client area account at https://www.fast2host.com/login/

Select Domain Registrations on the left
Select Transfer a domain.
Enter the domain name you wish to transfer.
Enter the EPP Code

UK domains such as .co.uk

You need to contact your previous host and ask them to change the IPS tag to ENOM. An EPP code is not required.

If you wish to transfer away from Fast2host, login to the client area and select your domain name, Select "more options"

Here you can unlock the domain and generate your EPP code.
