iPhone contacts synchronisation (Windows Hosting)

This article explains the process of how you can synchronise your contacts between your SmarterMail email account and iPhone.

Please note: we have had customers report that this is not always successful. You carry out the following at your own risk, and we cannot offer support.

1. Using your iPhone, go to the App Store.

2. Select Search, and type Funambol in the search box.

3. Click Search.

4. Click Funambol.

5. Click Free.  Then Install.

6. After the client has downloaded to the iPhone, click the Funambol icon.

7. You will be prompted to enter in your credentials.

9. In the Server Location Field, type your server location so that it follows this format:  http://mail.yourdomain.com/sync/default.aspx , replacing "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name.

10. In the Username field, type in your full email address.

11. In the Password field, type in the password for your email account.

12. Click Done.

13. Click Funambol in the upper left corner.

14. Click Sync Contacts to synchronize the contacts with SmarterMail.
