How can I connect remotely to my SQL 2005 Database?

 

To connect to your SQL 2005 databases you need Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.

If you own a copy of Microsoft SQL 2005 or if you use Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, then you will already have a copy of this program.

If you do not have either of these two programs available, Microsoft currently offer Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express available as a free download at

Note: Many customers have noted that you cannot connect to SQL2005 databases if using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2008. We recommend you download the 2005 version.
